Welcome to CBSE Practice. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application on the Google Play Store. By using CBSE Practice, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required: email address (login), name (profile), class grade 1-12 (content filtering), stream and selected subjects for Class 11-12, quiz attempts and scores (progress tracking), bookmarked questions (optional), and profile photo (optional). We do not collect location data, device contacts, or data unrelated to educational features.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and maintain your account securely
• Display class-appropriate subjects, chapters, and questions
• Track your quiz scores, time spent, and chapter-wise progress
• Generate AI-powered explanations for incorrect answers via Google Gemini
• Enable bookmark and review features

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase - authentication and database (supabase.com/privacy). Google Gemini API - AI explanations (policies.google.com/privacy). RevenueCat - in-app purchases (revenuecat.com/privacy). Google Play Services - app distribution. Expo EAS - app builds (expo.dev/privacy).

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data stored on Supabase servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt - never stored in plain text.
• Access protected by row-level security policies.

6. Children Privacy

CBSE Practice serves students of all grades (1-12), including children under 13. We collect only minimum data for educational purposes. We do not display ads or share children data with advertisers. Parents may contact us to delete their child account and data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Inactive accounts (2+ years) may be deleted after notice. You can request deletion at any time.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email sureshrajakcet@gmail.com. We respond within 7 business days.

9. In-App Purchases

Premium features use Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will notify you of significant changes in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
